During the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, I presented this online series for the beauty professional seeking to learn more about the artistry of hair kolour. I wanted to give back to the industry that I loved so much, and we needed something to focus on! So I decided to share what I knew like the back of my hand, kolour education, so that I could help beauty professionals prepare for the return to their salons. Let's get into it! We're going back to basics and breaking down the laws of kolour, how colors balance each other out, and how to apply that knowledge to create any color you can imagine.
Korrective Measures
Now that we've talked about the laws of kolour, we can use that understanding to formulate! In this module I'll show you quick ways to discover complimentary colors and how to incorporate them into your thinking. We'll also demystify color weight in the tube and breakdown lift to deposit ratios.
Mastering Underton
Knowledge is great, but applied knowledge is invaluable. Here is where you apply the law of kolour- in the mastery of undertones. We tackle the other half of your color formulation that many struggle to take control of by helping you understand the complexities of undertones and how they influence your final result.
Tipping The Scale
In this module, you will learn how to use the natural level chart of color to your advantage. Knowing what to expect from the lift and deposit ratio is key to performance and vital knowledge. Most color formulations go wrong because we don't understand developers, their purpose, abilities, and limitations. It's time to change that!
